Despite Africa's geographical distance from the war waged by the U.S. and “Israel” on Iran since February 28, its repercussions extend far beyond the region, reaching Africa both directly and indirectly.

“Israel” turned trade and supply chains into a covert network for espionage, sabotage, and regional influence targeting Turkiye.

Over the last two decades, Turkiye has been able to multiply its exports 7 times, to reach a value of $254.2 billion in 2022, as a result of exports to more than 200 countries.

With food prices soaring, supply chains disrupted and the conflict in Ukraine blocking access to vital reserves, experts fear the hunger crisis could deepen.
